Privacy Policy

We collect the minimum data needed to operate the service and process payouts:

• Account data — your email address and password (hashed) when you create an account.
• Wallet address — the Ethereum-compatible wallet address you add under Settings, used solely to send your earnings.
• Earnings data — earnings generated by each module on each router, used to calculate your balance and process withdrawals.
• App events — basic events such as module installs, starts, and stops, used to calculate payouts and diagnose issues.
• Referral data — your referral code and which accounts were referred through it, used to credit referral bonuses.
• Attribution metadata — UTM parameters and page source on sign-up, used for measuring marketing campaigns.
• Email delivery data — template, delivery status, and timestamps for service emails we send about installing, configuring, and operating earning modules.

• Router SSH credentials — your router's IP address, username, and SSH password are stored only in the Wifiearner app on your local device. They are never uploaded to our servers.
• Traffic content — earning modules handle encrypted peer-to-peer traffic. Neither Wifiearner nor you as the operator can inspect the content of that traffic.
• Files or personal data from your devices — modules only share spare network bandwidth. They do not access files on your router, computer, or any connected device.

Data is used to run the service, calculate and pay out earnings, provide support, measure product usage, and send operational emails that help you install and configure earning modules. We do not sell your data to third parties.

When you create an account, we may email you about account access, router setup, module installation, module configuration, payouts, referral activity, and other Wifiearner service updates. You can contact us if you no longer want non-essential product emails.

We use standard infrastructure providers (hosting, database, email delivery) to operate the service. These providers process data only on our behalf and are bound by data processing agreements.
